Just Great!!

Love the lighting, smooth animation and the attention to detail in the animation, the sound design.. but most of all the angles and shots you choose to tell the story...

If I would have to nitpick one thing then it would be the digging with the shovel.. somehow that felt a bit less animated..

Good luck in the contest!!

Thanks for the feedback and for also mentioning a critique point! The digging animation was looped to save time. You can't give 100% at everyting when making something in 24 hours and sometimes you need to cut corners. But still thanks for pointing it out

Ha ha ! Very funny as a turnaround ! I love, good job !

Nice work! I liked the way you revealed the plot.

Thank you! I really like flashback scenes and that felt like a good opportunity to use one.

I guess everything have been said.
I just wanna say that I really like the way you did this animation (at 0:29), do you think you could tell us how you did it? and that I'm impressed by how people could good brickfilms with only 24 Hours.
Great job and good luck for the contest!

Very well animated and nicely shot! Great visuals, great sound design. Very cinematic! I also really liked the how you did that flashback scene.

Thank you very much! You mean the shovelling animation? That was actually pretty simple. I had the right arm (from the back) popped out of the socket to allow for better movement. I then tried to get a circular "animation flow" from the digging, the throwing off and the movement back to the beginning. I also tried to get the beginning and end positions close together so that I could loop the animation. The dirt flying off was just attached to background bricks with some clay. Hope that explains some of the process for you
