By Croco Boss and Yetgo (Jul. 22, 2019)

Hi everybody !!!

20 of you entered to Challenge 1, which was about pre-production ! Wouah !

So noooow, it's time for:

Challenge 2: Production

This new challenge is about the production of your brickfilm. You will have to work on the animation part, including your set, your animation, and your camera shot.

But there is a rule: your brickfilm has to be made with one and only one single shot! Editing or even cutting is forbidden! In addition to this, visual effects are prohibited!

Your scenario, your soundtrack, and your video length will not be taken into account by judges. You don't have to make something understandable!

In summary, you just have to impress us with your sets, your lights, your animation and your visuals and that in only one single camera shot, one long take without any cuts.

You can register here. Then don't forget to check your participation has been validated...

You have until the Sunday, August 4, at 11:59 pm (local hour) to participate!

05/8/2019

The top five will be recompensed by some amazing sets provided by LEGO...

If your have any questions about this challenge, just ask the staff!

Good luck to everyone, and see you for Challenge 3!

By one shot do you mean to only take the pictures once? No retakes?

Maybe "one plan" is more understandable ?

I still am not understanding much. So is it a simple story made in the moment, with one camera position and no editing nor special effects? By the way, to register do I first upload the brickfilm to my account page then click the link provided here?
This is my first time doing this.

The goal isn't to make a story, we want to see what you could do with a single camera shot: you put your camera on your set, you create an awesome animation with camera moves and great lights: that's all, no cut, no editing

We don't want to see "cut" in your video, everything must be one the same "shot", you are allowed to move the camera

Is it clear?

Yes, you need to publish your brickfilm on the website and you'll be able to register it to the contest

Yes, I'll record the video and submit it Hopefully I did understand. Hehe

Sooo like just one single scene?

Okay cool! Now I understand

This is a tough challenge!
Just a onetake without editing, so greenscreen and transparent techniques used for Jumping etc. are not allowed.
I will definetly give it a try. But I am honestly not quite confident about this.

This looks interesting.
